Brendan Rodgers is reportedly "angry" at Celtic's lack of transfer business.

This is according to talkSPORT Alan Brazil who claims that that the Hoops boss is unhappy with how the January window has played out at Parkhead.

Celtic signed Nicolas Kühn from Rapid Vienna on a five-year deal earlier this month and have also look set to confirm the signing of Republic of Ireland international Adam Idah before the deadline.

However, Brazil feels the 50-year-old will feel like he has been left short in terms of options.

"I hope it is not true, but there are one or two rumours coming out of Parkhead, that Brendan is not happy about a couple of things.

"This only rumours by the way, but the pitch is not up to standard, I want more players, I need money for players and they are not given.

"So by all accounts he's very angry about it."

Meanwhile, Celtic winger Mikey Johnston is poised to join West Brom on loan until the end of the season.

This is according to The Telegraph who claim that the Republic of Ireland international "is set to undergo a medical at the English Championship side ahead of proposed move".

Johnston has two goals and as many assists in 12 appearances for the Scottish Champions so far this campaign.

He has struggled with injuries during recent years and spent last season on loan at Portuguese side Vitoria de Guimaraes.

A graduate of the Lennoxtown academy, the 24-year-old made his debut for Celtic in 2017 during Brendan Rodgers' first spell in charge.

Johnston has played 93 times for the Hoops in total, providing 25 G/A in that time
