Some of the biggest players at Celtic surprised patients at a Glasgow hospital yesterday.

Manager Brendan Rogers, alongside the likes of Kyogo and Callum McGregor, stopped by the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity to donate a £10k cheque and meet patients.

The Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity said that young patients were 'delighted' with the visit.

Taking to Facebook, they wrote: "Our young patients were delighted to meet players from Celtic FC in hospital today.

"There was great excitement on the wards today as we welcomed the first team players back to the wards in the first full club visit since 2019.

"We would like to thank the Celtic FC Foundation for their generous donation of £10,000 to fund Christmas presents for children with long-term health conditions.

"Spending time in hospital can be especially tough at Christmas. This special visit and donation from Celtic FC will greatly help children and families going through some of the most difficult times in their lives.

"Thank you to the club and the Foundation for their generous support."
