RANGERS have issued a flooding warning to supporters ahead of tonight's game against Aberdeen.

Heavy rainfall has hit Glasgow throughout the day and the club say that some roads are now under water.

Gers Supporters Liaison Officer Greg Marshall tweeted: "A number of roads around the stadium footprint have been severely impacted by flooding.

"We are working with the Glasgow City Council to resolve this issue. Please allow extra time to get to Ibrox this evening."

The warning comes after the club warned supporters to prepare for travel disruption due to COP26.

Light Blues fans have been reminded of road closures across the city, in place for the COP26 climate conference beginning on Monday, and told to take extra time before heading to the Govan clash.

With the Clydeside Expressway closed for three weeks, it is widely expected the M8, M74, M77, and Clyde Tunnel, although open, will suffer from additional congestion. The Clyde Arc (often known as the Squinty Bridge) will also be closed.
