STEVEN GERRARD has named his starting line-up for Rangers' Europa League clash with Brondby in matchday three of the group stage.

After suffering defeats to Lyon and Sparta Prague in their opening two fixtures, the Gers players know that anything less than a win will leave their hopes of progressing to the knockout rounds for a third successive season hanging by a thread.

Gerrard has kept fait with Allan McGregor in goals despite the veteran shot-stopper's error in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Hearts, and the Rangers boss has opted for the same back four of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and Borna Barisic.

Experienced midfielder Steven Davis comes back into the side at the expense of the suspended Glen Kamara, and the Northern Irishman will be joined by John Lundstram and Joe Aribo through the middle.

Kemar Roofe has been handed a start while Scott Wright drops to the bench, with Ianis Hagi operating as the other inside 10.

Alfredo Morelos - who is one goal away from having scored 100 times for the Ibrox club - will lead the line in attack.
