JOE HART 5

Didn’t have a huge amount to do other than pick ball out net. No chance with first, but could maybe have done more to prevent the second Jablonec goal. Decent save in stoppage time.

GREG TAYLOR 6

Provided the opener with a pinpoint driven cross into Abada’s feet. Didn’t create enough in the second half. Booked.

NIR BITTON 6

Few eyebrows raised at inclusion over Welsh. Excellent through ball to Furuhashi for second goal, but caught ball watching as Pilar raced through to score for Jablonec.

CARK STARFELT 5

Swedish stopper looked a little shaky. Equally responsible at first goal, but made a massive block just before half-time.

ANTHONY RALSTON 6

Worked his socks off up and down the right flank. One defensive blip was costly as he was too high up the park for Jablonec second.

ISMAILA SORO 6

Neat and tidy on the ball in the midfield. Had to be more focussed on defensive side of things with back four looking nervy.

CALLUM MCGREGOR 7

Always happy to take the ball and drive the team forward, connected the midfield with the attack well.

LIEL ABADA 8

Very lively and heavily involved throughout. Slammed home opener and had another few shots saved, one forcing rebound for Forrest goal.

DAVID TURNBULL 6

Things didn’t quite click for Turnbull. Unusually wasteful in front of goal, including huge early chance. Great vision to send Abada through in build up for Celtic’s third.

JAMES FORREST 8

Just as involved as opposite winger. Took his goal well from a tight angle before assisting Christie with inviting cross in closing minutes.

KYOGO FURUHASHI 7

Given the nod at striker over Edouard. Took his goal really well with clever chipped finish. Should’ve had a second but blazed over from just a few yards out.

RYAN CHRISTIE (for Turnbull, 65) 6 – Scored the crucial fourth with a superb header.

TOM ROGIC (for Furuhashi, 65) 4 – Put in a shift off the bench but no real impact.

ODSONNE EDOUARD (for Abada, 65) 3 – Didn’t show an awful lot in substitute appearance.
