RANGERS striker Alfredo Morelos has issued a message to supporters on social media after the Colombian grabbed the winning goal against Livingston on Wednesday night.

The men from Ibrox moved to within touching distance of a 55th top-flight crown courtesy of the 1-0 win over David Martindale's side, with the 24-year-old striker pouncing at the back post in the 87th minute to hand his team a valuable victory.

The dramatic win means that the Govan outfit could potentially seal the Premiership title this weekend, should results go their way.

In order for Rangers to clinch the league, they would have to beat St Mirren on Saturday and hope that Dundee United take points off Celtic on Sunday afternoon.

After his dramatic midweek intervention, Morelos took to Twitter to issue a rallying cry to supporters as they close in on a first Premiership title in ten years.

Morelos, who wrote in Spanish, shared a picture of his celebration against Livi with a message that translates to: "Every day closer to 55," followed by red, white and blue love heart emojis.
