Greg Docherty could be on his way down south, as Hull City monitor his progress.
The Rangers midfielder has been linked to the Tigers as well as Hibs in recent times. But talks of a switch to the English Championship are growing and manager Steven Gerrard even revealed recently that clubs in England are eyeing a move for the player.
The former Hamilton star is now plotting his next move, according to his manager. Gerrard said: "There's interest from down south and he's considering his options right now."
News of Docherty's apparent impending departure comes as Hibs have opened discussions with the Ibrox side over Ross McCrorie. We exclusively revealed earlier today that a £200,000 bid is incoming from Easter Road as Jack Ross looks to shore up his squad for this season's Premiership campaign.
McCrorie spent last season on loan at Portsmouth.
