Kris Commons has launched a scathing attack on Boli Bolingoli and urged Celtic to SACK the defender.
The defender has been heavily criticised by large sections of the Scottish football landscape, including his own manager Neil Lennon who was livid at finding out his player had taken a secret trip to Spain without self-isolating upon his return. Lennon caned the left-back and heavily hinted that his future could lie elsewhere.
He refused to be drawn on the specifics as Celtic hold an internal investigation. But Commons has blasted the player and insists the decision on his future is an easy one. "My first initial thought was stupidity, the second thought was anger and rage," Commons said.
"And now I'm at the point of feeling as if something needs to be done severely. Me personally, if I was Neil Lennon, I'd be asking the Celtic board, the committee and the chairman to go out their way and sack Boli Bolingoli."
Speaking on talkSPORT, Commons added: "I think what he's done is selfish. He's had total disregard for himself, his family, his teammates and their families."And then also to keep it secret and play in a game against Kilmarnock knowing that he's not quarantined - the team had been in a hotel previous to the game.
"I don't know anything else that he could have done that would have been worse. It's a real touchy subject at the minute so I would hand him the most severe punishment and sack the boy."
Chris Sutton also claimed Bolingoli's future at Celtic is in serious doubt, insisting the Belgian 'doesn't give a s***' about his teammates.
