Odsonne Edouard is being tracked by a host of Italian clubs - but they are being put off by his COST, according to a report.

Lazio, Roma and Napoli are all reportedly keen on the Frenchman but, according to Napoli Online, none have yet made a move because Celtic are holding out for big bucks.

Edouard is contracted until 2022 and would not be going anywhere in January, as boss Neil Lennon has already stated.

And given that the Hoops only have one fit striker at the moment, Edouard's value to the nine-in-a-row chasers is even more significant.

The 21-year-old has scored 13 goals in all competitions for Celtic this season so far.

Edouard led the line twice against Lazio in their Europa League defeats to the Hoops where the latter won both games 2-1.

His international strike rate has also garnered him fans around the globe.

The striker has scored in each of his five appearances Sylvain Ripoll's side and has 10 goals in just five appearances.
