DRIVERS are facing massive delays during this morning’s rush hour because of an accident at Bellshill.
The incident is seeing traffic back up to the M8 northbound with traffic also slow back to the M74 after the crash at the Bellshill Bypass.
Traffic Scotland first raised the alarm just before 7.30am.

The team said: “#A725 S/B Bellshill Bypass - partially blocked towards the #M74 due to an RTC. Traffic building in the area, be aware.”
Shortly after, Traffic Scotland warned that the incident was ongoing with traffic in the area getting worse.

In another tweet, the team added: “#A725 S/B Bellshill Bypass - all lanes are back running at the moment, when recovery gets there though a lane will have to close again Traffic back up to the #M8, N/B traffic now also looking slow back to #M74. Be aware.”
