Emergency crews raced to a two-vehicle smash on a busy road in Glasgow.

The incident took place on Cathcart Road in the city's Southside at 7pm on Tuesday, March 12.

Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene, where the drivers of both motors were checked over by paramedics.

Following it, cops have said one driver, a 28-year-old man, will be reported in connection with alleged road traffic offences.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 7pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, we were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Cathcart Road, Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and the drivers of both vehicles were checked by paramedics at the scene.

“One driver, a 28-year-old man, will be reported in connection with road traffic offences.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
