A Glasgow city centre bound bus has been left seriously damaged following a 'smash' on a major road.
Images have shown a First Bus being recovered following an incident on Dumbarton Road in Scotstoun earlier this afternoon.
Emergency crews, including police and ambulance, raced to the area following the 'crash'.
It has since been taped off by cops while the bus has been recovered.
Currently, it is believed the accident involved a car and a bus.
A source told the Glasgow Times: “I didn’t see anything but I heard it about three hours ago. It was a loud bang and then the sirens."
While another local residents said: “There were lots of ambulances and sirens but I didn’t see what happened.”
A spokesperson for First Bus said: “We can confirm an incident took place on Dumbarton Road shortly after 1pm this afternoon involving one of our vehicles and a car.
“Emergency services were called to the scene immediately and we are continuing to work closely with them.
“Our thoughts are with everyone who was involved in the incident.”
Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
