A plush new hotel has opened in Glasgow following a huge investment.

The Address Glasgow, which is located on Renfield Street in the city centre, opened on Friday, March 1.

The new 95-bedroom hotel is the first Scottish property and venture outside of Ireland for the family-owned Irish hospitality group The Address Collective.

The 'boutique' venue has seen a 'meticulous' renovation to one of the city's 'classically listed buildings'.

Originally built in the 1890s, the hotel firm invested over £9million to renovate the six-storey building, with an end goal of elevated luxury, rich heritage, and Scottish touch points throughout.

As part of the hotel's opening, it has also created 80 jobs in the area.

The Address Glasgow features a 'stunning cocktail bar and eatery North, a guest-exclusive wellness centre including a plunge pool and Himalayan rock salt spa as well as beautifully designed meeting rooms'.

The hotel will offer guests 'opulent' bedrooms including classic and club rooms.

To celebrate its opening, the hotel hosted an 'opening night' by showing off its 'stunning interiors' with a launch party.
