The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) say they were called to the incident near a riverbank on Kelvin Bridge near Otago Street in the city's West End on Wednesday, February 7, at around 2.07pm.
In total, two fire vehicles and two water rescue units were sent to the scene.
Luckily, the furry friend was then rescued by the hero emergency crews.
