A fire at a derelict building in Glasgow has sparked a major 999 response.
Firefighters were called to Royston Road in the north of the city on Monday morning following reports of a blaze.
Three engines and a high-reach appliance were sent to the scene shortly before midday and remain there now.
It is not known if there are any injuries.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 11.42am on Monday, 5 February to reports of a fire at a derelict building on Royston Road, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances and a specialist high reach appliance to the scene where firefighters are working to extinguish the fire.
“Crews remain on scene.”
It comes after we reported that some buses were diverted away from Royston Road due to an 'incident'.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
