One Glasgow service is still disrupted after recent bad weather.

Yesterday, the Glasgow Times reported that passengers were left “really anxious” after facing major delays at Glasgow Central.

Multiple trains were cancelled or delayed, leaving huge queues at the station.

Today, ScotRail has announced that almost all lines are back to normal.

The Glasgow Central to Carlisle via Dumfries services, however, are still not operating as usual.

On Facebook, the company said: "Trains from Glasgow Central to Carlisle via Dumfries will terminate at Kilmarnock.

"Trains from Carlisle to Glasgow Central via Dumfries will terminate at Dumfries.

"Buses are shuttling between Kilmarnock and Dumfries."

This is due to issues at the section between Dumfries and Kilmarnock, where Network Rail Scotland needs to check the line following the bad weather.
