A former member of The Smiths has announced a Glasgow show on a headline tour.
Johnny Marr is embarking on The Spirit Power Tour in April 2024, beginning in Newcastle and closing at Nottingham.
The legendary musician will perform at the city's Barrowland Ballroom on April 3, 2024.
This announcement comes ahead of the release of the 59-year-old's greatest hits record Spirit Power: The Best of Johnny Marr on November 3.
Celebrating 10 years of Johnny's solo career, the album features two brand new singles and a sample of unheard demos.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, October 27 at 10am, but fans who buy his album can exclusively access a pre-sale on Wednesday, October 25.
This announcement comes after we reported that the guitarist will take part in a Q&A session with fans at St Luke's in Glasgow to mark the release of the album.
