A MAN found with £36,000 of drugs and cash at his mum’s house was jailed today for 20 months.

Lewis Law, 22, committed the crimes at the property in Glasgow's Castlemilk.

A police raid in June 2021 uncovered cocaine and cannabis as well as £23,235 from rooms in the flat.

Other drug paraphernalia such as scales were also found.

First offender pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to two charges of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis.

Mum Yvonne O'Hear, 50, had her not guilty pleas accepted by the Crown.

The court heard officers forced entry to the flat in the early hours of the morning with a search warrant.

A search of one of the bedrooms uncovered several thousand pounds in a money bag as well as herbal cannabis.

Prosecutor Jessica McGowan stated in the kitchen there were two sets of working scales, cannabis and further cash in money bags.

Additional money bags were located in the living room and second bedroom - cannabis was also found within.

White powder found to be cocaine was found in one of the rooms as was two grinders.

Both Law and Miss O'Hear were arrested, cautioned and charged at the time.

The cannabis has a potential maximum street value of £9,900 with the cocaine being at £3,040.

Miss McGowan added: "The cashed seized was a total of £23,235."
