A car was torched in Dumbarton during the early hours of the morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Overburn Crescent after the alarm was raised at around 4.25am on Thursday, March 28.
We previously reported that cops taped off a stretch of the street.
Firefighters attended and extinguished the flames.
Images show the car, which officers say had been parked in the area at the time of the incident, was destroyed by the blaze.
No one was injured.
Police say they are investigating the fire and believe it was deliberately started.
Detective Constable Gordon Hanley said: “We would urge anyone with information or who saw any suspicious activity in the area early this morning to get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from the area.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 0349 of March 28, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
