Comedy films and musicals are making a comeback to Vue cinemas to give movie lovers reprieve from January blues.
With Vue cinemas located at Glasgow Fort and St Enoch’s Centre, there will be screenings of comedies and musicals each week for four weeks, starting from January 12, to beat Blue Monday on January 15.
Toby Bradon, General Manager of Vue UK & Ireland, said: "With January 15 marking Blue Monday this year, we wanted to brighten up the lives of film fans across the country by inviting them to revisit some of our favourite feel good big screen moments.
"Vue is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of everyday life, providing an entertaining way to enjoy the start the year by experiencing a great story back on the big screen, where it belongs."
The line-up of laughter-inducing films will commence with Robin Williams's acclaimed Mrs Doubtfire.
Other movies include Anne Hathaway's The Devil Wears Prada, Bill Murray's Groundhog Day and Heath Ledger's 10 Things I Hate About You.
Comedy musicals Sister Act and Mamma Mia will also be featured from January 26.
Tickets can be purchased online at select venues starting at £4.99.
