A 'LIVING legend' composer who recently hit 9m followers on TikTok at the age of 80 is coming to Glasgow.
Sir Karl Jenkins' 80th Birthday Tour will be at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on March 17, 2024.
Presented by Raymond Gubbay Limited, it will include Sir Karl conducting one of his most beloved works, The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, which recently made history by remaining in the UK Official Albums Chart for more than 1000 weeks.
The concert will also include renditions of some of his other recognisable works such as Adiemus (famous for being the music in the Delta Airlines ad) and extracts from his new chart-topping album, One World.
Sir Karl’s music was played at the coronation of King Charles III and he has attained the highest position (fifth) by a living composer in the Classic FM Hall of Fame.
