Southside drivers have been warned about a road closure in the Gorbals.
Essential patching works are being carried out this weekend forcing access to be shut off on Laurieston Road.
The area will be closed southbound between the junction of Ballater Street and Errol Gardens.
As a result delays are expected and drivers are urged to use different routes if possible.
The work is taking place on Sunday, October 8 between 8am and 5pm with diversions being put in place.
Glasgow City Council’s Traffic Control and Management team said: “To facilitate essential carriageway patching works, Laurieston Road is required to be closed southbound between the junction of Ballater Street and Errol Gardens.
“The closure will be in place on Sunday 8th October 2023 between 8am -5pm.
“Delays are to be expected and drivers are advised to use alternative routes where possible.
“Diversions will be signposted.”
