UPDATE: John Traynor, 35, reported missing from Glasgow city centre, has been traced safe and well.

Concerns are growing for a Glasgow man who may need medical attention after being reported missing.

John Traynor, 35, was last seen leaving an address on London Road at 10pm on Wednesday, July 26. 

The last known direction he was going in was on foot in the direction of Monteith Row, Glasgow Green.

John is described as being white, 5ft 7ins tall, with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing an olive green shirt and black jeans

Sergeant Jill Malaney said: “We are concerned that John may be in need of medical attention and would ask that any sightings of him are reported to police immediately.

“He frequents the City Centre area and we have conducted a number of searches around Glasgow Green, where he is believed to have been shortly after 10pm last night (July 26).

“Anyone who can help us trace his current whereabouts should contact police as soon as possible.”
