A ROAD in Paisley was closed last night while 999 crews dealt with a medical emergency.
The incident took place on Seedhill Road in the town at around 6.35pm on Sunday, July 2.
Residents reported that the road was shut between the Abbey Mill roundabout to the turn into Anchor Drive.
It is understood a man had taken unwell in the area which sparked an emergency response.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 6.27pm on Sunday, July 2, to attend an incident at Seedhill Road, Paisley.
"We dispatched multiple resources to the scene, and one patient was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital.”
