A mysterious new pizza shop with a very quirky logo is causing a stir amongst the city's foodies as they try to pinpoint its exact location.

Frank's Pizza and Subs has only two posts on Instagram, one of their distinctive French Bull Dog logo and another with an exterior shot captioned teasingly 'well, well, well...'.

A co-owner, John Blaen, took to Twitter to announce the opening of the new shop but was sure to keep his cards close to his chest saying: "The next week or so is going to see the opening of mine and @MrCon8’S pizza gaff.

"Give the Instagram a wee follow and you’ll find out when you can come get a tasty as f*** box of happy, we might even tell you where it is.

"We also might not. Come on in."

When the Glasgow Times asked for further comment, we received a reply signed from 'Frank' which said: "We spent a full lockdown looking for Frank’s, there wasn’t a Frank’s anywhere to be found, so we made a Frank’s.

"Home of the lunch you’ll need a sleep after and the pizza you’ll wish you ordered 2 of.
"Grand opening being hosted by Joe Biden this week or next.
"Frank’s - just around the corner, just off the main road in the West End somewhere."

While the tongue in cheek response has given us few extra clues as to what we can expect from Frank's, popular spots like Finnieston's latest speakeasy-style bar AFS have commented on their Instagram posts saying "Yes!! Welcome to the party".
