HOLLYWOOD star Matt Damon is to appear remotely for COP26 in Glasgow.
The A-lister is scheduled to speak at an event at 4 pm on Monday, November 8 at the New York Times Climate Hub at SWG3.
Described as a 'physical and virtual space where influential leaders and thinkers join forces with the wider community', the Hub will host multiple panels over eight days, each focusing on different climate issues.
Damon's panel is called Washing Up: Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene and the Good Will Hunting actor will participate as the Co-Founder of Water.org and WaterEquity.

Joining him will be Co-Founder and C.E.O. of Water.org and WaterEquity, Gary White and Chief European Business Correspondent of The New York Times, Liz Alderman.
