Two scammers steal from pensioner, 74, by offering her gardening work
TWO scammers have stolen a four-figure sum of money from a pensioner in East Kilbride.
Police are making enquiries after the incident which happened on Thursday, October 21.
The pair are understood to have offered gardening work to the 74-year-old victim, who lives in Livingstone Drive.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 2668 of Thursday, October 21."
