KATSU curry has taken off in popularity over the last few years and now a restaurant dedicated to the Japanese dish has opened in Glasgow.

Funky KATSU on West Nile Street is sure to stand out from the crowd with it's bright orange and black signage and interior.

The spot, which is set to be an Instagram hit, brings flavours of the Far East to Glasgow and will offer a Japanese "Izikaya" level of service.

Some of the dishes on offer include chicken and vegetable gyoza, chicken wing karaage and king prawn tempura and of course, an extensive katsu menu including chicken, beef wagyu, pork, duck, salmon and squid all served with sauce and miss soup with a choice of rice or Udon noodles.
