We might not have full guidance on exactly what kind of experience we'll be in for just yet, but some of our favourite venues are clearly just as eager to get back to clubbing as we are.

Here is a list of the Glasgow nightclubs that have confirmed via their social media accounts that they will be opening as soon as restrictions allow at midnight on Monday:

The Berkeley Suite:

The Berkeley Suite on North Street were one of the first clubs to announce their re-opening after a brief run as a sit-down 'Listening Lounge.'

They said in a social media post: “This one is equally as hard as it is easy to write. Hard to put into words how big this is, easy to write how excited we all are.

“At the stroke of midnight, we’re able to swing open the pearly gates of the Berkeley Suite and welcome you back down those infamous stairs....”

The Savoy:

The Savoy confirmed their return shortly after the First Minister's update  in an energetic social media post that said simply:“YASSSSSS!!! See you on THIS Sunday at MIDNIGHT SAVOY F*****G SUNDAY"

Glasgow Times:

The Polo Lounge

The Polo Lounge in Merchant City is back and they're promising some serious celebrations.

They said on Facebook: “Good News Everyone, we can open Sunday at midnight!!!

“Let the party commence!! Let’s Dance”

Mango

Mango is perhaps better known for its live gigs and cocktail bar, but it also has a dedicated club space downstairs which will soon be back in use.

They said on social media: “The boss has spoken. We party to 3am from Monday the 9th August! Vamos!”

AXM

AXM on Glassford street are ready to get the party restarted as soon as possible.

They said on Facebook: "This is a public service announcement from #teamaxm.

"We can excitedly reveal we will be OPEN THIS SUNDAY - 8th August"
