TREES at a popular beauty spot in Dennistoun were torched last night.
Logs in the Alexandra Park fruit garden were lit on fire at around 9pm on Tuesday, prompting locals to call the fire brigade.

Crews tackled the blaze and left around 9.30pm.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: "We were alerted at 9.05pm on Tuesday, August 3 to reports of trees on fire at Sannox Gardens, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance and firefighters extinguished the fire.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
