GLASGOW has been ranked the funniest city in Scotland in a new poll.
Research shows that people across the UK rate the city as having one of the best senses of humour in the country.
The survey, carried out by Comic Relief ahead of Red Nose Day next Friday, found that Liverpool was the city most thought would tickle your funny bone, with Glasgow coming fifth overall.

Responses also found we love laughing at our own jokes, too, without top three favourite comedians all local faces - Billy Connelly was rated number one, followed by Kevin Bridges and Frankie Boyle.
Sir Lenny Henry, Comic Relief co-founder, said: “This year Red Nose Day will be a bit different.
"We all need cheering up, and of course, we want to raise as much money as possible for people who really need it in the UK and around the world, but we also want to make you smile and bring you some laughter over the coming weeks.”
