"These modern, energy-efficient homes will provide much-needed affordable housing in two popular areas of the city. I’m sure the new homes will make a big difference to the quality of life of the people who live in them."

Funding for the project comes from Glasgow City Council.

Councillor Kenny McLean, City Convener for Neighbourhoods, Housing and Public Realm, said: "Like so many housing developments being built in Glasgow just now, these homes will cater for different types of households and bring new life to vacant sites."
