A HOUSING association will build 18 homes on a former primary school site.
Thenue Housing has been given permission by Glasgow City Council for a development at the old Littlehill Primary School.
It plans to build a mix of affordable terraced houses and cottage flats.
The land, on Craighead Avenue, has the Molendinar Family Centre to the south, with the Molendinar Burn passing through the development site.
A play area, with seating, will be built as part of the project and parking spaces for 23 vehicles will also be provided.
The plans revealed a new access onto Craighead Avenue will be created.
They added the homes “are formed in five terraced or semi blocks across the site and include a mix of accommodation ranging cottage flats to six-person houses”.
Littlehill Primary was merged with Knockburn Primary to form Wallacewell Primary, which officially opened in 2007.
