CITY cops have warned motorists it is an offence to drive a car without a clear view of the road - after wintry conditions covered vehicles in ice this week.
Temperatures plummeted across Glasgow on Thursday and Friday to below zero creating a dusting of snow and ice on vehicles.
Now officers in Glasgow North East division are advising motorists to clear their car fully before driving on the road.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “With the winter weather upon us, please clear your windscreen of ice and condensation before driving off.
“It’s an offence to drive a vehicle without a clear view of the road ahead but more importantly, it’s incredibly dangerous and you are putting other road users at risk.”
