LEWIS Capaldi has joined calls to get missing Kai Rae home. 

The teenager was last seen boarding a taxi at King's Cross station in London, after travelling from Edinburgh. 

He has been missing since Monday, November 23 and his family have launched a desperate search to find the 16-year-old.

Glasgow Times:

Now Lewis Capaldi has joined in calls to get Kai home. 

He tweeted: "Give this a retweet if you can and let’s get Kai home safe."

The Bathgate singer is the latest celebrity to urge Kai to come home. 

Last week, the former Rangers star posted a video pleading with the missing youngster to return to his family. 

He said: "Hi Kai, it's Gazza here. 

Glasgow Times:

"Do us a favour, please get home. People are missing you."

Search parties were launched last week to find Kai, before it emerged the ten had travelled to London via Edinburgh from his Cambuslang home.

Inspector Stephen McManus said: "We have a number of resources dedicated to the search for Kai and are working with our colleagues at the British Transport Police and Metropolitan Police as part of our enquiries.

Glasgow Times:

"Kai has been missing for over a week now. It is extremely unusual for him not to be in contact with his family and they are understandably extremely worried.

"We have released these CCTV images of Kai at King's Cross Station to show what he was last seen wearing in the hope that someone may recognise him or know where he may have travelled on to. Perhaps someone spoke to him at either of the train stations or on the trains?

"If Kai sees this appeal, I would ask him to please contact family, friends or police to let us know that he is safe.

"Kai is described as white, five foot and six inches tall, slim build with short brown hair.

"Anyone who may have seen Kai or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1144 of November 23."
