STEVEN GERRARD is encouraged by the partnership between Ryan Kent and Ianis Hagi after Rangers eased to a 4-0 win against Dundee United.
Kent opened the scoring at Ibrox as he interchanged passes with Hagi and produced a moment of magic to beat Ryan Edwards and then keeper Benjamin Siegrist.
Hagi would later set up Scott Arfield as he rounded off the scoring after James Tavernier and Kemar Roofe had also netted for the Light Blues.
Kent now has four goals to his credit this term and boss Gerrard said: “He is in a terrific place, working hard, playing well, he is happy and he is looking ever so dangerous. He could maybe have got in on the act even more.
“Him and Ianis are linking up really well, playing close together and little combinations around the box. It was a wonderful goal.
“People will say it was an individual goal but don’t forget the part that Ianis played in that as well.”
