Two officers were hospitalised after an incident in the Kirkintilloch last night.
Two men, aged 28 and 14, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Eyewitnesses report seeing nearly a dozen police vehicles race to the scene of a disturbance in Townhead just before 11pm.
The officers were injured during the incident and were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. They have been released following treatment.
The 28-year-old is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, July 13 and remains in custody.
However, the teenager, 14, has been released on an undertaking. He is expected in court on Monday.

Chief Inspector Lorna Gibson said: "A report was received of a disturbance within a property at Townhead in Kirkintilloch shortly after 10.50pm on Friday, 10 July.
"Two males - aged 28 and 14 - have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. Reports will be submitted to the relevant authorities.
"The 28-year-old will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 13 July from custody. The 14-year-old has been released on an undertaking, also to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
"Two male police officers were injured during the incident and were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Both have subsequently been released following treatment."
