Ms McSporran continued: “We have a list of people who are not coping well, and we have ensured they receive a call to offer support and a chat which helps their mental health and wellbeing.

“The whole project has been successful and necessary. While helping others this also helps our own mental health and wellbeing.

“The community has been amazing helping with donations, as there is no access to funding because this is an emergency group, and has created positivity in the area despite the current crisis.”
