UPDATE: The latest figures, which were released by the government yesterday, show the number of cases in Wiltshire is the same as reported below from Saturday.
THE number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Wiltshire is continuing to rise, with 93 people now testing positive across the county.
As of Saturday, March 28, 67 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the Wiltshire Council area, with a further 26 in the Swindon Borough Council area.
In the Hampshire County Council area, 432 cases have been confirmed, following Birmingham as the second area with the highest number of cases.
The data, updated today by Public Health England, has revealed there has so far been 19,522 Covid-19 positive cases across the UK and 1,228 coronavirus-related deaths.
Nationally 135 patients have recovered from the virus.
