A DISTILLERY near Salisbury will be distributing hand sanitiser over the next few weeks for free, after raising around £2,000 online for supplies.
Following the coronavirus outbreak, Downton Distillery will be giving out gel to residents at collection points throughout April, to help those in need and keep the community safe.
A first batch was already distributed earlier this week.
Residents will need to bring an empty container or bottle to the collection point, to be topped up with sanitiser.
The distillery team will also ask for a donation to help purchase future supplies.
An online fundraising page was set up in a bid to raise £20,000, which will be used to create 10,000 litres of hand sanitiser.
Visit the Downton Distillery website to find out collection points and distribution times.
