A father and daughter have been attacked outside a pub in West Dunbartonshire.
The 27-year-old woman has been left seriously injured as a result of the attack, with her 48-year-old father suffering a minor injury to the nose.
Emergency services were called to the incident, outside a pub on Dalmuir's Stewart Street, shortly before 1am on Sunday.
The pair got into a verbal argument with a man who then assaulted them both, punching the man once and the woman twice.
The woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, the suspect fled up Stewart Street in the direction of Dalmuir train station.
He is described as being dressed in all dark clothing.
Detective Constable Iain Allison of Clydebank CID said: “Enquires are ongoing and we are working to establish the circumstances leading up to this assault.
“There would have been a number of people in the area around the time of the incident and we are keen to talk to anyone who might have seen anything.”
