A man has been pulled from the water in a Glasgow canal.
Emergency services raced to the Firhill area of the city at around 7.40am, as worried locals watched on.
The fire service confirmed they had been called out to reports of someone in the canal, and say he was taken from the water to hospital.
A spokesperson for the service said: "We were called to reports of a person in the water in the Firhill area of Glasgow first thing this morning."
Police also confirmed the man, whose age is not yet known, had been conveyed to hospital earlier this morning.
