Has your child got a knack for all things fun and is ready to earn a living?

A shopping centre is on the hunt for two children to become its resident toy testers in the Christmas period, putting this year's must-haves through their paces.

Bosses at East Kilbride shopping centre have teamed up with The Entertainer and the big man in red himself to fill one of the world's toughest's jobs.

They say the 'highly pressurised' positions will only suit youngsters, and they are essential to helping Santa's workforce get a head start.

Santa will need help on December 2, in an after-hours testing session at The Entertainer toy shop.

To enter, head to the EK website and enter their details.

The closing date for the two positions is at midnight on November 27, when Santa will pick the winners from his red hat.

Suzanne Heraghty from EK, East Kilbride said: “It’s a tough job but someone has to do it.

"With more and more toys appearing every year it can be difficult for Santa to figure out what ones are the best.

"Our two toy testers will be invaluable members of the Claus team and will help the elves get a head start on their toy making.”

Once the toy testers have blasted, whacked, and whirled all the toys, their full report will be sent to Santa who will read it very carefully on his next weekend visit to EK, East Kilbride.
