SCOTTISH rockers The Jesus and The Mary Chain will play the city's Barrowland Ballroom next year as part of a 2020 tour.
The new show will see the band, made up of brothers Jim and William Reid, play their second studio album Darklands at the East End venue on March 20.
The band released Darklands in 1987 and it reached number five in the UK album charts. It features singles Darklands, Happy When It Rains and April Skies.

The East Kilbride previously featured singer Bobby Gillespie who played drums before he went on to form Primal Scream.
The new tour will take The Jesus and The Mary Chain across Europe shows throughout March and April.
Tickets for the show go on sale tomorrow at 10 am.
