HISTORIC coins, a decomposing python and an original VHS copy of Shrek are just some of the litter which has been collected from the River Clyde.
Environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful have revealed a list of some of the freaky findings lifted out of the river.
Announced as part of the group's Upstream Battle campaign, volunteers have been collecting litter and recording data on the types and quantities found in the Clyde river catchment for over 10 months.

Among the weird and wonderful items rescued from the riverside and riverside by eager volunteers include a 4ft long decomposing python, Edwardian coins and an ornamental brass horse and cart.
A jesters hat, a chemical toilet, an original VHS copy of Shrek and a bunch of coconuts have also been pulled from the waters' depths.
Keep Scotland Beautiful is now challenging people to recover and record even more freaky findings as part of the Upstream Battle Week of Action next week.
The most unusual find photographed and submittedwill be presented with a prize of a recycled plastic bench donated by Recoup and Berry BPI, one of the campaign funders.
Running from the September 14 to 20, groups and businesses can help reduce the amount of litter that reaches the sea from the Clyde and waterways which flow into it.
Keep Scotland Beautiful's Paul Wallace said: “We want to challenge everyone living along the Clyde to take part in the Upstream Battle Week of Action and help find, record and remove, the weird and wonderful ‘rubbish’, along with the mundane litter that people have carelessly discarded.
“Upstream Battle is encouraging people to stop dropping litter, look after our river and ultimately protect our seas.
"Every drinks bottle or crisp packet picked up during the week of action reduces the amount of rubbish that could end up in our seas.”
