CELTIC have been dealt an unexpected blow after it was confirmed Jozo Simunovic has been handed a two-match suspension for being sent off in a summer friendly.
The defender received a red card, which was decided by VAR, for what was dreadful challenge against St Gallen player Boris Babic.
Simunovic will now miss the first two Premiership matches of the season against St Johnstone at Parkhead on the opening weekend and then away at Motherwell.
