DISRUPTION is being seen on South Side train services due to a trespasser on the line.
The incident took place between Shawlands and Pollokshaws East, and all lines had been blocked.
UPDATE: The trespasser is now off the line. Services are returning to normal but some disruption is still expected.

Services between Glasgow Central and Glasgow Central via Queens Park, and also Glasgow Central and Glasgow Central via Maxwell Park were being affected just before 6.30am.

ScotRail has since confirmed the trespasser has been removed, with services slowly returning to normal. Disruption is still to be expected.
A British Transport Police spokesman told the Evening Times: “At 6.28am, our officers were called to Pollokshaws East station following a concern for the welfare of a woman. Officers attended and a woman was taken to a place of safety.”
