A man found dead in the grounds of a Cardonald Primary School has been identified as Andrew McEwan.
The 35-year-old from Highfield Place in Kelvindale, Glasgow was discovered within the surroundings of Our Lady of the Rosary Primary on Tuesday lunchtime.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, which officers are currently treating as unexplained.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and officers have now appealed to anyone who knows of him to get in contact.
Detective Inspector Peter Sharp, Govan Police Office, said: “We do not yet know what has caused the death of Mr McEwan and therefore we are trying to piece together his movements up until his body was found.

“Officers are currently trying to get in touch with anyone who knew of him to try to establish when he was last seen and we would ask anyone who has any information about him to come forward.
“Anyone with any information is urged to contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 1528 of Tuesday, March 19, 2019.”
Inspector Kevin Lammie, Govan Police Office, added:“We have increased our high-visibility uniformed patrols in the Cardonald area to help re-assure members of the public.
"There is nothing to suggest any wider issues, however, I would urge anyone with any concerns to contact their local police office or speak to any of the officers in the area.”
