ENGINEERS have discovered the fault causing travel delays between Glasgow and Edinburgh, but are now awaiting new parts.
ScotRail tweeted that the signal fault is still causing issues on the line between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh.
Now engineers have found the issue but it can not be fixed until they receive replacement parts.
Earlier in the evening ScotRail said disruption to services was expected to last until the end of the day.

Trains between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts were reported to be running as normal by 8.45 pm.
Those frustrated by the evening's delays expressed their anger via twitter.
One said: “7 carriages of standing room only on the heavily delayed 7.15 to Glasgow @ScotRail. Another day of delays and cancellations. So the answer to my earlier question is actually ‘no, signalling delays are not resolved’.”
ScotRail has said any journey that was delayed more than 30 minutes is eligible for a refund via their website.
