POLICE have swarmed Broomielaw in Glasgow after receiving a report of a body in the water.
The Evening Times understands the emergency services have dashed to the area close to the Grosvenor Casino Riverboat.
A Police Scotland spokesman told the Evening Times: “At around 7.25am this morning, police received a report of a body in the water in the River Clyde at Broomielaw.

“Emergency services are currently in attendance and enquiries are ongoing.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were requested at 7.26am to assist emergency service partners at the River Clyde in Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised a water rescue crew to Broomielaw.
“Firefighters assisted their emergency service colleagues and thereafter left the scene.”
